**TRANSPORT TERMS & CONDITIONS**

 

All bookings confirm the customer's agreement and undertaking to abide by these terms and conditions as displayed on our website.

 

**Passports**  

All horses passports must be presented and accompanying, during transport as per the Horse Passports (England) Regulation 2004. If a passport is unavailable upon our arrival, the transport cost is non-refundable, and no transport will occur.

 

**Insurance & Liability**  

Hire and Reward, Care, Custody and Control and Public Liability insurances are provided through Shearwater and hard copies are available to view during transportation along with all relevant and legal certifications.

 

Customers are advised to insure their animals for transport. The client remains fully liable for their horse's injury, damage, or death during our care.

 

**Accessibility & Loading**  

Customers must ensure the horsebox can access yards without causing damage. Our horsebox is 3.5 tons with dimensions: height 3.25m, length 6.3m, width 2.7m. If access involves restricted roads, please arrange an alternative meeting location. A flat, level surface is required for loading and unloading.

 

**Damages**  

Customers are liable for any damage caused by their horse to the horsebox. Clients may inspect the box's condition prior to loading.

 

**Veterinary Attention**  

In case of urgent veterinary needs, we may contact a vet and transport the horse to the nearest clinic at the owner's expense. If a horse becomes aggressive, we may call an emergency vet for sedation at the owner's cost.

 

**Fitness to Travel**  

Horses must be fit and healthy to travel. We reserve the right to refuse transport if we deem the horse unfit. Clients are responsible for all transport costs in such cases. We will not use forceful techniques when loading; if clients insist on such methods, we may cancel the trip with no refund.

 

**Feeding Requirements**  

We recommend ad-lib hay during transport. We can provide hay at your risk or clients may supply their own.

 

**Tack and Equipment**  

We accept no liability for loss or damage to tack or equipment.

 

**Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds**  

Prices are based on the information provided at booking. A non-refundable deposit secures the booking and will be deducted from the transport cost on the day. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable, but may be waived if rebooked. Dates can only be moved once; further changes require a new booking.
